ABOUT ME
An experienced operator.
My name is Andy Yuwen. Westheimer Capital is my vehicle to search for and acquire an exceptional business I will operate for decades to come.
I believe deeply in the long-term accountability that owner-operator alignment provides and embrace the opportunity to steward a company with that mindset. I have dozens of reps stepping into unfamiliar environments, learning from experienced operators, and providing steady leadership through uncertain times.
I’m a former management consultant with McKinsey, advising clients from family businesses to Fortune 100 corporations on their most pressing issues, including acquisitions, capex prioritization, and supplier negotiations.
Previously, I was a Chief of Staff at Vanguard, guiding a 300-person cross-functional department through a merger and subsequent reorganization. I’m a graduate of Vanguard’s leadership development program, where I built and led teams in various contexts from the fast-paced trade floor to back-office operations and customer service.
Outside of work, I’ve spent 10+ years as a judge for the largest international high school debate tournament. I’m also an avid traveler, poker player, and former competitive tennis player.
I’m a CFA charterholder and hold a degree from Rice University in chemical engineering, economics, and managerial studies.
PROCESS

Initial meeting
Phone call, coffee, or site visit. We get to know each other and decide if we should proceed.

Initial offer
We sign a mutual NDA and I review financials, team experience, and operations. We agree on ballpark terms and both sign a letter of intent.
3.
Close
My team of accountants and lawyers review details and draft a final purchase agreement. We make detailed transition plans and you receive payment.
